US e-Chromic was officially launched on May 20, 2011 at the Vice President Biden press event held at the National Renewable Energy Lab (NREL) headquarters in Golden, Colorado. US e-Chromic President and CEO, Loren Burnett, had the honor of introducing the Vice President.
US e-CHROMIC NAMED FINALIST IN 2011 CLEANTECH OPEN GLOBAL BUSINESS COMPETITION- WINS ROCKY MOUNTAIN REGIONAL FINALS
US e-Chromic has been selected as a finalist in the 2011 Cleantech Open Global Business Competition. US e-Chromic's CEO and founder, Loren Burnett, accepted the award at a ceremony on October 6, 2011. As a winner of the Rocky Mountain Regional competition, US e-Chromic will be one of 24 teams competing for the $250,000 grand prize to be awarded at the Cleantech Open 2011 Global Forum held in San Jose, CA on November 15 and 16. This years competition began in May with 285 entrants globally and 38 entrants in the Rocky Mountain Region. Regional and global judges are recognized experts in clean energy and include institutional investors in the clean tech sector.
